How do I run a deal on the Denver Daily Deals site?
It's simple, just click
here to fill out for our Business Inquiry Form and we will contact you to discuss the process.
Does it cost anything to have my deal featured on Denver Daily Deals?
You don't have to pay us anything to have your deal featured!
If you don't charge me anything to run my deal, how does Denver Daily Deals make money?
We only make money when customers buy vouchers for deals featured on our site. We share the revenue we collect from the sale of those vouchers with the merchant,
subject to the terms of the agreement we sign with the merchant.
How and when will I get paid?
We pay our merchants quickly after their deals post on our website. If you are a merchant and have a PayPal account, we’ll pay you your revenue share into that
account within 15 business days after the deal runs on our site. If you don’t have a PayPal account or would just prefer to receive a check, we can do that, too – in that
case, we’ll send you a check within 60 days after we run your deal on the site.
How do you promote my deal?
We promote each deal in a number of ways, including through a daily email sent to our opt-in subscribers, ads in The Denver Post (including the front page!), ads on
DenverPost.com (including the home page!), on our Twitter account and Facebook page. Thousands of local potential customers will see your deal.
How do I decide what kind of offer to run?
We'll work with you to determine what would make the best deal for both your business and for our customers.
When will my deal be featured on Denver Daily Deals?
We're committed to making your deal a success! We certainly want you to let us know your preferred dates, but we need to maintain a certain amount of flexibility so
that we can ensure that your deal is optimized for success—not running before or after a similar deal, for example. We also only run one main deal per day, so we
unfortunately may not be able to feature every merchant who wants to advertise a deal on our Deals site. If we’re able to run your deal, we'll let you know what
date we end up with before running the deal so you can be prepared.
Do I have to provide you with the advertising materials that will be used when you feature my deal?
Nope! Our copywriters are ready to write up your business so that every customer far and wide will want to visit. You can rely on us for a write-up that will sing
your praises—it’s one of the services that we provide to you. That said, if you have any information or materials – descriptions, logos, photos, etc. - you want us
to include in your deal, we want you to share them with us.
How do I track redemptions?
There are several ways you can track redemptions. As soon as we enter you as a merchant in our system, we’ll send you an email with your log-in and unique password to our Merchant Portal and a link to a page where you will
be able to access a list of the names and voucher numbers of your customers who have purchased vouchers for your particular deal. As customers redeem their vouchers,
you'll be able to go back to that page within the Merchant Portal to confirm that the voucher hasn't been used already and then you can designate that the voucher has been redeemed. In addition,
we will send you a list of these names and voucher numbers once the deal has closed, and you can then simply cross voucher numbers off a print-out
as they come in.
Can I get the mailing list from you so I can use it later?
When your deal closes, we’ll send you a list of the names of customers who bought vouchers and the associated voucher number along with their email address. For privacy reasons, we ask the deal purchaser if they would like to receive special email offers from your business – if they check YES, you may add them to your email marketing list, if they check NO, you can email them at least once to thank them for buying your Denver Daily Deal and ask about their experience. However, if your deal is as successful as we expect it’ll be, we’ll hope you’ll want to run again with us! And you can, of course, collect from customers any information they are willing to provide when they come into your business to use their voucher.
When can customers redeem their vouchers?
Customers are able to redeem vouchers as soon as they purchase the deal, which is why we send you your log-in and password to our Merchant Portal as soon as you are entered into our system and you can mark vouchers as redeemed in real time. We'll work with you on the fine print, such as when to set the expiration. Please keep in mind that because our customers are paying something for the vouchers, the portion of the voucher they pay for is treated as a gift certificate under most state laws. Most states put restrictions on when (or if) gift certificates may expire. We ask our Deal Partners to honor the PAID amount of the voucher (not the total value) after the stated expiration date.
